Tata Teleservices Introduces Exciting offers For HSIA Handset Customers

Tata Teleservices Limited has launched an exclusive offer for Open Market High-Speed Internet Access (HSIA) handsets customers across the country, both on the pre-paid and post-paid platforms.

These HSIA handsets from Blackberry, Samsung and LG support data download speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps.

On the purchase of any new HSIA-ready handset, pre-paid customers can avail free 500 local On-Net minutes for a month and free data usage of 10 GB, with a validity of two months.

Similarly, new post-paid customers can enjoy free data usage of 15 GB per month for two months, and also free 500 local On-Net minutes for a month.

Customers are free to choose from the plethora of data-specific plans, or opt for any other plan of their choice. Additionally, new pre-paid and post-paid customers will get VAS usage worth Rs. 100 free.

New pre-paid customers will have to recharge their number with FRC 98 (First Recharge Voucher of Rs. 98)—this will give them free talk time worth Rs. 25. Whereas existing customers can simply purchase a new HSIA-ready handset and recharge with a Special Recharge Voucher of Rs. 17 to avail the same benefits. The offer will be available till 31 December 2010.

The Tata Photon Plus proposition for mobiles is available across a large range of open-market handsets from Samsung, starting at Rs. 5,090 (Samsung Corby TV, Metro TV, Mpower TV and Mpower Txt). Handsets from LG include the LG Cookie Zip 510 and LG Cookie Spark 235, starting from Rs. 5,000. Customers are also free to choose from exciting range of HSIA-ready handsets from Blackberry—Curve, Tour and Bold, which come with exciting voice and data plans.

After enjoying the free data usage, all post-paid and pre-paid customers will be charged at 50 paise per MB for Internet data usage. There is an extra benefit for customers who buy the Samsung Mpower Txthandset—they will get free unlimited usage of GTALK till 31 October 2011 (this service is available in select HSIA cities).
