BSNL Will Set Up More Call Centers to Improve Customer Services

In order to improve the customer service, India’s National Telecom back bone and pan India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today unveils its Call Center for Rajasthan telecom circle.
Speaking on the inauguration of BSNL’s new call center at Ajmer in Rajasthan, Union Minister of State for Communication & IT Mr. Sachin Pilot said that “At present the whole of Northern India (BSNL North Zone) is being served by Gurgaon call center which receives about 60,000 calls a day just from Rajasthan telecom circle. So this new call center will redress the complaints of the mobile service users of the company in the quickest possible time.
Mr Pilot also stated “Govt of India’s Communication Ministry wants to solve problems of BSNL consumers immediately and for this call centers are being set up in this field. In future, call centers will be opened in small cities across India.”
The BSNL Rajasthan’s new call center will function on out sourced model and would have a capacity of 124 seats to serve the 55 lakh subscribers of Rajasthan telecom circle.
