HTC and Microsoft India today announced the launch of first Windows 7.5 Mango smartphone, HTC Radar in Indian market for Rs. 23990 (MRP Rs. 25490).
Windows 7.5 Mango OS based HTC Radar sports a 3.8-inch LCD touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. It’s been fitted by a rather large 3.8” LCD touchscreen display complete with a virtual QWERTY keyboard.
Sleek and stylish HTC Radar has 512 RAM, 8GB of on-board storage and 5 Mega pixel BSI CMOS camera with LED Flash which is capable of recording 720p HD videos. There is a VGA front facing camera for video chat. A committed camera button rounds off the feature list here as users can now click away even when the phone is locked.
The HTC Radar truck-loaded with exciting features experiences such as search, Gaming, Email and social networks across Bing, Office, Xbox LIVE, Facebook, Twitter and more. The device completely integrated Microsoft Exchange and calendar alongside the Microsoft Office Hub are among the various niceties users can expect. Users can also navigate the web efficiently thanks to Internet Explorer 9.
The device equipped with G-sensor, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor as well. While as connectivity option, it has Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G HSPA ( 14.4 Mbps download speed) and GPRS/EDGE options.
It packs 1520 mAh non-removable battery, which is claimed to last up to 10 hours of talk-time on GSM and up to 8 hours on 3G/WCDMA network.
