Indian mobile phone maker INTEX today announced the launch of INTEX Tri.Do – a triple SIM phone with CDMA slot just for Rs. 3750. It is a bar style, GPRS enabled, Java based phone that can hold 3 SIM cards (GSM+ GSM+CDMA).
While receiving /making a call on one of the GSM connections, the CDMA connection remains active (and vice versa), hence the user can easily make a shift between the two numbers. Its video player is capable of playing even MP4 and 3GP files and the audio player has compatibility with all formats including MP3, AMR, Wave. One can savour the audio by connecting the output to external speakers via 3.5 mm jack.
The phone has 5.58 cm (2.2 inch) of TFT screen with 65K colors, 1.3 MP camera which can also be used as a webcam, mobile tracker, Bluetooth, phonebook with 1000 entries and dual memory card slots – up to 16 GB each.
After launching India’s first triple-sim phone in 2009, Intex has introduced its 3rd phone in this range which is an upgrade in terms of longer battery life (7 hrs talk time and 300 hrs stand-by) and a line-up of diverse and useful multimedia features. It is amongst the few phones available in the country which has 32 GB expandable memory feature.
Consumers will find INTEX Zone very useful which is an eclectic assortment of various functions like Answering Machine, Mobile Tracker, Auto Call Record, Google, MSN, Yahoo, Facebook and Games. The handset supports both English and Hindi and works as a modem, for web-surfing on your computer, too.
